Michaela Morgan is a keen rollerblader who has written over one hundred books for children, some of which are published internationally. She has been short-listed for the Children's Book Award, been an International Reading Association Children's choice and won a United Kingdom Reading Association award. Born in Manchester, Michaela now lives in Brighton. * Pie Corbett, the well-known poet and literacy advisor, is one of the authors of the National Literacy Strategy. The many books he has written or consulted on include Belitha's popular Start Reading and Start Writing series, and Write Your Own. Pie lives in Gloucestershire.
