Poetry From the Heart Poems of Faith is a short collection of Christain poetry. Each poem covers a different aspect of fait hand the daily walk with God. From the intesne battle with self as one learns the painful lesson of surrendering the will, and the heartache that comes from wandering away. As well as poems of immense relief of surrendering the will and the resulting river of joy that pours forth wtih gratitude for the wondrous gift of forgivness and finisehs with pomes of expectation and a looking forward to the great day of victory when sin will a last vanish into history.
Katherine B. Parilli fell into her love of writing thanks in part to her determined Father, who not content with her progress, decided to vigorously home school her for her third-grade year. Insisting that she read and reread each assigned story; and write, rewrite, and edit each paper over and over until he was satisfied with her progress. Slowly opening to her a new world of creative thought and introducing her to the power of words. This gift would become her lifeline as in her late teens her health began to fail and overnight her world seemed to shrink in size. Lost in a new world of chronic pain. Allowing her a way to express her deepest hopes and longings of her heart. It is of these struggles, deferred hopes and dreams, and the little joys that brightened her day that most of her writings spring. Katherine B. Parilli lives with her parents, sister, and adorable little pup Happy who thrives on being the center of attention. Besides writing books, Katherine Parilli has a You Tube channel called Poetry From the Heart and a blog called Reflections About Life. She also contributes to the Make Time for Happy 101 You Tube Channel and blog, which stars her precious little pup Happy. When she is not writing and enjoying the privilege of a moderately pain free day she likes to putter around the garden, take photos, and go for long country rides.
