Whitney Griswold Professor of History, professor of international and area studies, and director of the Genocide Studies Program at Yale University (www.yale.edu/gsp). He served as founding director of Yale's Cambodian Genocide Program (1994-99) and convenor of the Yale East Timor Project (2000-02).
