The Police On Track by Peter Braidis
From 1978-1983 The Police released five brilliant albums that took in rock, reggae, world music and more. By 1983 they'd become the biggest band in the world, but egos and arguments took their toll and Sting left to become a massive solo success and the group split in 1986.
Peter Braidis is a graduate of Rutgers University in History and Journalism. He currently works as an educator at Rohrer Middle School in Haddon Township, NJ and has written a book in this series on the band Asia as well as the book Unstrung Heroes: Fifty Guitar Greats You Should Know where he interviewed fifty guitar players including Tony Hicks, Rik Emmett, Eric Bell, Davey Johnstone and more. Peter has been a Police fan since he first heard them as a nine-year old lad. He lives with his family Michelle, Emerson, Luke and Krimpet their 18-year-old cat in New Jersey, USA
