She loved reading as a child and fantasized of traveling to exotic locations. Throughout her studies, she lived in England, Africa, and Nepal, but she wishes she had traveled more. While on vacation, she enjoys making up stories for her children to keep them amused while waiting in lines or waiting for lunch at restaurants. Some of her stories were inspired by those events.
