Mick Manning and Brita Granstrom, award-winning author/illustrators of many of the Wonderwise titles, have created an exciting new collection of young non-fiction books that are perfect for children just beginning to read. Each book explores a particular area of learning with a simple narrative text and beautiful illustrations which, where appropriate, are labelled or given very simple captions. Mick Manning was head of illustration at Glasgow School of Art. He has written and illustrated a number of children's books. Brita Granstrom has also illustrated many books, including BABY KNOWS BEST. They are married and live in Berwick upon Tweed with their two sons.
