Here he developed the retail side of the business, specializing in late 17th- to 19th-century furniture. He has researched and written various specialist catalogues and gives lectures on restoration. He is a member of The London and Provincial Antique Dealers' Association. W.J. Cook & Sons is a senior member of the British Antique Furniture Restorers' Association.
