Greg Archer is a Maui-based freelance writer who has been living on the island since 2015. He's had the opportunity of getting to know his adopted home inside and out, and he loves that he can travel from a small-town hub to a beautiful rainforest or the top of a dormant volcano viewing the entire island in just a 20- or 30-minute drive. On any given day, you'll find him partaking in a variety of island activities, from kayaking and snorkeling to ziplining and paddle boarding, or searching for the next great sunset view. According to him, there's something indisputably wonderful about the air, the ocean, the land, and (probably most importantly) the people that pervades every aspect of life on the island. He's written about Maui for a variety of publications, including the Huffington Post and Jetset Extra, and has worked as an editor for luxury travel publications like GuestLife Monterey Bay and Canada South Magazine. His travel writing has appeared in publications such as AAA's Via Magazine and DRIFT.
