Presentation Primer by Robert B Nelson

Speaking in front of a group of people - although often one of the most frightening experiences a manager can have - offers great career-advancing visibility if the presentation is done well. The Presentation Primer turns the liability of presenting into a key success strategy for your career. Complete and effective, this Briefcase Book includes a presentation planning system that helps you think of everything when putting together your presentation. Inside, you'll also find an entire chapter of tips for overcoming stagefright, real-world examples that provide easy-to-use ideas for improving presentations, presentation planning worksheets which take the fear of forgetting something when planning your presentation, and techniques for handling the questions that inevitably follow presentations. Designed to be used over and over, this guide gives you practical ideas and examples - along with checklists - that can be used to make every future presentation a success.
Nelson, Robert: - Author Robert Nelson is an award-winning Phoenix journalist whose own family first settled in Arizona City, later Yuma, in 1869. His greatgreat-uncle, John Dorrington, owned and edited the Yuma Sentinel for 30 years while serving four times in the territorial legislature. Nelson, who wrote this book with assistance from the Arizona Historical Society and the Arizona Historical Foundation, is also working on a book about Dorrington and the family's ideological roots in the pre-Civil War abolitionist movement.
