She is coauthor of Portraying the Presidency and author of Wired for Sound and Pictures (forthcoming). Lawrence R. Jacobs is an associate professor of political science at the University of Minnesota. He is author of The Health of Nations: Public Opinion and the Making of American and British Health Policy and coauthor of Politicians Don't Pander.
