Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Elizabeth Bennet dislikes Mr Darcy on sight, but first impressions prove dangerous in a world built around marriage.

Celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday with this beautiful gift edition of Pride and Prejudice, featuring foiled covers, marbled endpapers, sprayed edges, beautiful paper and a silk ribbon.

Elizabeth Bennet is clever, observant and unimpressed when she first encounters Mr Darcy. His pride and his judgement of her family make him easy to dislike, even as Mr Bingley’s attachment to her older sister Jane draws the households together. Balls, proposals, rivalries, social embarrassment and family pressure turn love into a contest between feeling and understanding.

Austen’s classic romance remains one of the sharpest and funniest novels about manners, marriage, money and misjudgement. This Vintage Collector’s Classics hardback is a beautiful gift for Austen readers, collectors and anyone looking for a timeless love story in a deluxe sprayed-edge edition.

'I must have all of them <3 <3.'

'Our beloved classics with sprayed edges too! They are absolutely STUNNING!'

An incredibly funny, very upmarket love story with an enchanting heroine and the perfect romantic hero: a tartar with a heart of gold—

Another question I've been regularly asked over the past year is what models I had in mind when writing Curious IncidentWas it To Kill a Mockingbird? Was it Catcher in the Rye? In fact, the book most often in my mind was Pride and Prejudice

The wit of Jane Austen has for partner the perfection of her taste—Virginia Woolf
