Vivian French lives in Edinburgh. She is married, and has four grown-up daughters. Vivian started off as an actor, working in schools and theatres, and later became a storyteller. Her first three stories were published in 1990 and she has now written more than two hundred books for children of all ages. Vivian is enjoying writing The Tiara Club books more than anything she's ever written because she went to an all-girls' school that was just a teeny bit like the Princess Academy...but the princesses have much more fun!
