Principles of Community Psychology by Levine
This book is a revision of a successful community psychology text. It uses an ecological perspective to integrate theory, research and practice across the diverse subject matter of community mental health and community psychology. The authors have retained the basic architecture of the book, but the thoery chapters have been rewritten to reduce jargon and other chapters have been changed to improve clarity. All examples and issues in the book have been revised to bring them up to date.
"Prior to this edition, this book was unrivaled for its scope and depth of the obvious and not-so-obvious psychological implications of what American communities are: what problems they face, how they do and do not changeThis edition makes clearer than previous editions that this is more than a book about the American community. It is about America."--from the foreword by Seymour B.
