Freshman, Samuel K.: - SAMUEL K. FRESHMAN is an expert in real estate syndication and has been a general partner in over one hundred real estate syndications. He founded and has served as chairman of Standard Management Company for the past 50 years. His Los Angeles-based company man-ages hundreds of millions of dollars in assets. A Stanford University and Stanford Law School graduate, Sam is Chairman Emeritus of Stanford Professionals in Real Estate (SPIRE). He has been adjunct professor of real estate law at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Southern California and has lectured on real estate law and syndication at Pepperdine University Law School, Stanford University Law School, Loyola Law School, University of Southern California Law School, and University of California Los Angeles Law School. Sam has been a member of the American College of Forensic Examiners since 1994, and has served as an expert witness in nearly one hundred legal cases involving real estate and banking matters in both state and federal courts.
