This brief supplemental book provides students with an easily applied theoretical model for thinking about systems of privilege and difference. Writing in accessible, conversational prose, Johnson joins theory with engaging examples in ways that enable students to see the nature and consequences of privilege and their connection to it.

After ten years as a business owner/operator, Allan Johnson returned to school in 1999 to pursue his passion for teaching. He has a master's degree in education and a master's degree in business administration. Occupational Training and Development (OTD) is a term used to describe the process of learning and Allan spent seven years teaching CCNA classes in high schools and has also taught CCNA and CCNP courses at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas. Allan began devoting a significant amount of his time and efforts to the CCNA Instructional Support Team in 2003, providing services to Networking Academy teachers throughout the world and developing training materials.
