Michele R. McPhee is the New York Times bestselling author of A Professor's Anger, A Mafia Tale, A Date with Murder, and Heartless, all of which are published by St. Martin's Press. She was the courts and crime reporter for the Boston Herald, where she is currently a writer, and was the former award-winning Police Bureau Chief for the New York Daily News. She is currently an ABC News New England correspondent and a Fox 25 TV contributor. A Date With Death was adapted into a Lifetime TV film, which premiered in January 2011.
She also worked on the Lifetime film Who Is Clark Rockefeller? as a story consultant. More than a dozen national magazines, including Maxim, Stuff, Cosmopolitan, New York, ESPN the Magazine, Gotham, Manhattan File, and other foreign media, have published McPhee's real crime stories. Her reporting has led her to crime sites all around the country, and she has been on CNN, MSNBC, and the Fox News Network as a breaking news pundit.
