Caroline Kepnes hails from the Massachusetts town of Cape Cod. Her first novel, You, was adapted into a Lifetime TV series and was translated into nineteen languages. It was also nominated for a CWA New Blood Award. Hidden Bodies, her second novel, is a sequel described by Booklist as the love child of Holden Caulfield and Patrick Bateman. Providence is her most recent book. Caroline graduated from Brown University with a BS in American History as has worked as a pop culture journalist for Entertainment Weekly and a TV writer for 7th Heaven. She now lives in Los Angeles and works as a full-time writer.
