Psychology by Richard D Gross

With Psychology: A New Introduction for A Level 2nd edition and Psychology: A New Introduction for AS Level now out for Autumn 2000, a distinct A2 title (based exclusively on material from consolidated 2nd edition) will appeal to those students who have decided to progress from simply doing AS Level (or for those whose satchels couldn't take the 'big' 2nd edition first time round!) The A2 material comprises social, physiological, cognitive, developmental and comparative psychology, individual differences and perspectives. All the important features of the 1st edition have been retained, including an introduction and overview, conclusions and a detailed summary for every chapter. As well as the introduction of a second text colour (light blue), new features include 'Pause for thought' stimulus questions and actual A level exam style questions throughout, making the overall approach far more interactive..
Psychology: A New Introduction for A2 sets out to make its material as accessible as possible through the use of illustrations, example boxes, introductions, overviews, conclusions and summaries! The book provides a comprehensive, up-to-date resource for A2 students and is an invaluable resource for any psychology student's bookshelf-- The Open University Psychological Society Newslett 20011201
