The Psychology of Emotion by Kenneth T Strongman
'It is late at night and you are sitting quietly. The neighbours are all away. Suddenly, there is a huge thump on the door, a scream and then a deathly silence. ' As emotion and emotional experience are a daily occurrence, they have always been key topics of study for psychologists.
Kenneth Strongman is Professor of Psychology at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand. Besides the four previous editions of this book, his publications include four other books and numerous papers, mainly on emotion, emotional experience and its implications. He has also written extensively at the popular level.
