Stephen holds a master’s degree in medical education (MMEd) and a research doctorate of medicine (MD). In addition to being Medical Editor of Hospital Doctor of Ireland, he has authored or co-authored over 250 articles, contributed to three books and authored four more, notably Fiction and Physicians: Medicine Through the Eyes of Writers.
