Naming a Practice: Curatorial Strategies for the Future, a conference on curating held at The Banff Centre in 1994, he was an organizer and publishing editor. White is a member of Hoopoe Curatorial, a collective that is currently planning an interdisciplinary, multiyear India-Canada project, as well as the co-editor of a landscape and Canadian identity anthology and a member of the Montreal curatorial collective CARGO.
