Pushka by Stephen Mackey
Pushka is fast asleep in his bed on the circus train. Little does he know that he is about to topple out...amongst the enchanted trees. Scared, Pushka runs away through the night until he spies the most beautiful dancing girl. She says not a word, but she beckons him to her, luring Pushka into the arms of..a HUNGRY GIANT! Will Pushka ever make it back to the circus?
Praise for Miki: "Beautiful, dreamy and magical" A parent Soft focus pictures beautifully convey this icy world. The Bookseller "...hauntingly-evoked and dreamlike worlds..." Bournemouth Echo "... a beautifully crafted and atmospheric story..." CHILD EDUCTAION PLUS 'Miki is a beautifully crafted and atmospheric story.' Child Education Plus 'There is a real sense of wonder in this book, illustrated in glorious blues and greens, with characters set simply in uncluttered backgrounds for maximum impact. The pages are thick and glossy, and altogether this is a sumptuous production, which may well become a favourite with adults and young children.' School Librarian

In 1998 Lip International set up a licensing department and linked up with a number of companies around the world licensing Stephen's work.
