She co-founded the restaurant chain Leon in 2004. She works extensively with Good Food Channel, Radio 4, the Guardian, ES magazine and Elle. In 2008, Allegra was awarded an MBE for promoting healthier eating and ethical sourcing in the UK. This is her seventh book.
