Tom Jackson is a science and natural-history author of more than 40 books, mostly for children. He has studied zoology at the University of Bristol, taken part in conservation projects in Zimbabwe and Vietnam and, as a travel writer, visited the Galapagos Islands and the Sahara. Sean Callery is a writer and a primary-school teacher. He has written a number of information books for publishers such as HarperCollins and Which?, as well as musicals and educational articles.
