Rabbit Hole, a Pulitzer Prize-winning novel that was adapted into a feature film, was written by David Lindsay-Abaire. He wrote Good People, Fuddy Meers, Wonder of the World, A Devil Within, and Kimberly Akimbo, as well as Shrek the Musical's book and lyrics. Rabbit Hole, Rise of the Guardians, and Oz: The Great and Powerful are among his screenplays. He grew up in South Boston and currently resides in Brooklyn.
