Since then he has written 14 more children`s books. His work has been translated into sixteen languages, including Greek, Arabic and Korean and has also been adapted for radio, television and theatre.

He is married with four grown up children, who have been his inspiration, audience and also best friends. He lives in North East Lincolnshire with his wife, Trisha.

His hobbies are writing, destroying the garden and playing PS2.
