Racial Relations: The Fight for Equity in America and The Vietnam War, both published by nomad Press, are written by Barbara Diggs. She's also written a number of educational articles for kids, including The Dred Scott Decision: The Case That Sparked the Civil War and The Mercury 13: Women of the Space Race, for Living Through History magazine. Barbara, a Stanford Law School graduate, worked as a lawyer in New York for several years before deciding to pursue a career as a writer. She divides her time between France and the United States' east coast.
