Raising the Bar documents Rob Lloyd's life growing up on a farm in Cheshire, his years at boarding school, his close relationship with his father and distant relationship with his mother, as well as the problems he had landing his first job (having failed his English Language O level six times). His appearance on The Secret Millionaire is also described in detail.
Rob Lloyd is a 45-year-old self-made millionaire, married to Helen and with three children. In 2006 he floated his property company, Eatonfield, on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), setting up Rob Lloyd Racing in Cheshire a year later. Rob continues as Chief Executive of Eatonfield pic and in March 2009 he appeared on Channel 4's The Secret Millionaire.
