Shelly Vaziri Flais: Shelly Vaziri Flais, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician, wife, and mother of 4 children, including identical twin boys. She received a BA in History at Northwestern University in the Honors Program in Medical Education, and received her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She performed her pediatrics internship and residency at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she has clinical experience and practical know-how--her 4 children, all born within the span of 4 years, have been her best teachers.
