Rastamouse: Marathon Mystery by Genevieve Webster
On your marks...get set...GO! The Big Cheese Marathon is coming up, and Scratchy is training hard to be in with a chance of winning the trophy. But how is it that Rubba keeps beating her without putting in any effort? Rastamouse is suspicious, especially when he discovers that Rubba has two identical pairs of running shoes, two identical tracksuits, and one identical twin brother! It's a race against time to solve the mystery before Scratchy crosses the finish line - and to prove for once and for all that cheating doesn't pay.
Genevieve Webster studied Graphics and Illustration at Canterbury and Norwich Schools of Art before moving to London in 1988. She has worked in children’s books for over twenty years. It was Genevieve’s passion for language and dialect and her love of Caribbean culture that inspired her to co-create Rastamouse. Michael de Souza left his native Trinidad to join his parents in London in 1960. He has spent most of the last fifteen years teaching swimming, and it was his love of teaching and working with children that inspired Michael to pursue a career in writing.
