PAUL AINSWORTH is chairman of CAMRA's Pubs Heritage Group that actively campaigns for the protection and promotion of Britain's historic pubs. He is the editor of Real Heritage Pubs of the Midlands, also published by CAMRA GEOFF BRANDWOOD has a PhD in architectural history and a special interest in the Victorian age.
