Greg Baer, M.D., has been practicing medicine for almost two decades. was a well-known surgeon, educator, civic leader, and entrepreneur. He felt hollow and miserable despite his talents, wealth, and respect. He developed a drug addiction and was on the verge of committing suicide. In his following quest for true happiness, he discovered several concepts that have influenced the lives of hundreds of millions of others.
Dr. Baer established a new profession of writing, lecturing, and speaking after retiring from one of the busiest solo eye surgery clinics in the United States. He has written 17 books about relationships, marriage, and parenting, which have been translated into various languages and published worldwide; produced the three-CD audio series, The Truth About Love and Lies; produced the six-DVD set (with Workbook) The Fundamentals of Real Love; produced the PBS television special, Real Answers, which was viewed statewide; and appeared on over 1500 radio and television stations around the country.
