Are the Wealthy Necessary? is one of his best-selling books. Lewis co-founded Cambridge Associates, LLC, a global investment firm whose customers include renowned research universities, philanthropic organizations, and families. He graduated from Harvard University. He has served on the boards and committees of fifteen non-profit organizations, including the World Bank and environmental, teaching, scientific, and cultural organizations.
