About four decades ago, Bruce Fisher, EdD (1931 1998), established the rebuilding paradigm of divorce rehabilitation. He directly educated thousands of individuals and therapists in this approach as the founder and head of the Family Relations Learning Center in Boulder, CO, impacting the lives of hundreds of thousands around the world. He was a well-known divorce therapist, author, and educator, as well as a professional member of the American Association for Marital and Family Therapy. Fisher's best-selling handbook to surviving divorce, Rebuilding, has sold over a million copies in the United States and has been translated into ten languages. Loving Choices, co-authored with Nina Hart, and the Rebuilding Facilitator's Handbook, co-authored with Jere Bierhaus, are two of his other books.
