He has authored numerous articles on extensive reading and serves as a program advisor to a number of educational institutions in Asia. He owns and moderates the Extensive Reading discussion group, as well as maintaining an Extensive Reading website. He was the co-chair of the JALT 2005 conference in Shizuoka, Japan.
