Redfern and Hunter on International Arbitration by Nigel Blackaby
This classic work provides students with a clear and authoritative explanation of the law and practice of international arbitration. Now in its fifth edition, this is an invaluable resource providing practical insight and guidance based on the authors' extensive experience as counsel and arbitrators.
This book is a very useful tool when educating about international arbitration in the generic senseIt contains substantial coverage on key aspects from the arbitral agreement to the binding resolution. This book successfully introduces all of the areas of international arbitration. The detail and depth the book goes into makes it a must read for all students attempting to study any form of arbitration whether it is investment or international commercial arbitration. The only weakness of the book is that it could dive deeper into the different dimensions as outlined earlier and it could differentiate between the dynamics of investment and international commercial arbitration. Suresh Birdi, Visiting Lecturer, Birmingham City University
