Reflections for a Caregiver by Jo Kemp
This book helps caregivers, especially those caring for someone with Alzheimer's or related dementias to work through the many problems they face daily. It also provides inspiration and validation while providing them with the comfort of knowing that they are not alone and they are doing a great job. The beauty of this book is that the wisdom contained in the daily messages relate to everyone, not only caregivers. It is a tiny voice of reason when you need encouragement or are feeling blue coping with the challenges of Alzheimer's disease. Each day contains a thought or message that is thought provoking and introspective. It has encouraging, supportive insights on every day thoughts and feelings. The wisdom and inspiration contained within are priceless. Maria Shriver states.Your thoughtful book means so much to me. It is a comfort to know that we are not goung through this difficult time alone. I have truly been touched.
