Religion and Ethics for OCR by Mark Coffey

Religion and Ethics for OCR is an ideal guide for students taking the Religion and Ethics option of either the new AS Level or A Level qualification offered by OCR, starting in September 2016.

'This is an extremely thorough and versatile book that will effectively meet the demands of the diligent student and support the needs of the teacher delivering the new A Level courseIt is a very welcome addition to the important subject area of ethics and religion.'—Richard Gray, author and Senior Examiner

'Coffey and Brown have addressed every aspect of the Ethics option of the new OCR Specification for AS and A Level Religious Studies. The text will prove an excellent handbook both for teachers and for students. The authors have paid special attention to the greater weight given in the new examination to the need to critically evaluate normative ethical theories and the applied ethical topics. It is an essential text for the OCR Course and for similar courses offered by other examination boards, and it has an academic depth which will stretch students to reach their full potential.'—Keith Noakes, Latymer Upper School

"We use Brown/Coffey books at IGSCE, A level and Pre-U and are always impressed by their depths and accessiblity. I thoroughly recommend this book for OCR centres (and beyond- it covers all the AQA requirements and most topics for Eduqas and Edexcel).- it's what your strongest students will thrive on." (Richard Coupe, Berkhamsted School)
