Remains to be Seen by Travis Fox
Remains to be Seen, is a monograph of aerial photography. The project is an exploration of memory, loss, and survival physically etched on the landscape. Abstract in composition, the images examine the loss of cultures, industries and ways of life in America. As memories fade, so do the physical remnants littered on the landscape.
Travis Fox is an aerial photographer and the Director of Visual Journalism at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. Philip Kennicott is the Pulitzer Prize-winning Senior Art and Architecture Critic of The Washington Post.
