The Resilient Disciple by Justine Allain-Chapman
An exploration of how to respond to adversity.
Praise for Resilient Pastors: 'Pragmatic and compassionate.. I wish I had read this book years ago.'', Rt Revd Alan Wilson, Bishop of Buckingham', Church Times;'The subject matter is important, indeed an area of such obvious importance that when addressed so clearly it makes one wonder why it took so long for someone to identify and name it in those terms ... the text is not encumbered with unnecessary jargon but is written in a style that engages the reader.', David Lyall, Practical Theology;'Realistic and compassionate ... an excellent book for those who want to think seriously about real humanity, genuine Christian struggle, authentic pastoral engagement and the dangers of what Bonhoeffer famously called 'cheap grace'.', Rt Revd Nick Baines, Bishop of Leeds, https://nickbaines.wordpress.com/tag/justine-allain-chapman/"
