Restart by Scott L Engle

Many Christians worship every week and pray each day, but continue to feel that their faith has gone stale. Something is missing. Worse, some researchers say Christianity in the United States is evolving into a weak and tepid pop-faith. To reenergize your faith and become a truly committed Christian again, it's necessary to get back to the basics. Author Scott L. Engle, the teaching pastor at St. Andrew UMC in Plano, Texas, provides you with ways to find a fresh start in your faith. You can learn how to connect the dots of the overarching biblical story; express the essential beliefs on which all Christians have agreed from the beginning; and overcome significant criticisms that people voice about Christianity. By learning more about the Bible, you can embrace your basic beliefs once more and be encouraged to tell others what and why you believe. Be inspired to change your life and find more meaning in all that you do with Restart: Getting Past Christian-ish.
