Restoration by Angela Slatter
Walking between the worlds has always been dangerous - but this time V's facing the loss of all she holds dear. The brilliant, fast-paced sequel to Vigil and Corpselight.

Slatter [has] gone from strength to strength, armed with first-class imagination and first-class storytelling skills * Jeff Vandermeer, bestselling author of the Southern Reach trilogy *
Edgy, hilarious and full of heart - Verity is back and as brilliant as ever! * Alison Goodman, award-winning author of Lady Helen and the Dark Days Club *
Verity has touches of Katniss Everdeen but quickly establishes herself as a strong, likeable and positive female heroine in her own right * Lovereading *
Rich and heady as honey mead, potent and earthy as great Scotch, the sublimely dark tales of Angela Slatter are an addictive delight * Neil Snowden, Waterstones *
One of the most important voices in fantasy * SF Signal *
A brilliant conclusion to the trilogy, Restoration is Slatter at her finest hour * Thoughts by Tash *
Did I love reading this book, this series? Yes I did . . . A fabulous must read * Reading, Writing and Riesling *
Action all the way . . . Please, please may there be more! * Blue Book Balloon *
This was a delight . . . A fast paced mixture of action, mystery, snark and paranormal creatures. It's honestly perfect to devour in one sitting * Bec's Books *
This series might be my favourite urban fantasy series at the moment and Verity Fassbinder my all time favourite urban fantasy heroine . . . I can't recommend these books highly enough * A Fantastical Librarian *

Beautiful, captivating and effortless writing . . . it's almost impossible for you to guess exactly what is likely to happen next * The Never Ending Bookshelf *
Vivid, magical and with more mayhem than you can shake a stick at, Restoration is addictive, beautifully written and, as usual, darkly comic throughout. One of my favourite urban fantasy series. The action is non-stop, the characterisation on point and the wit just keeps on rolling . . . I couldn't have asked for a better conclusion * Theresa Smith Writes *
Full of black humour and razor-sharp dialogue, it manages to be at once endearing and terrifying. This spellbinding second novel leaves little doubt as to Slatter's immense talent * Reader Dad on Corpselight *
If you enjoyed American Gods, you'll love this. If you loved the Dresden Files but thought there were not nearly enough females taking charge, Verity is the answer to all your woes * Read at Midnight on Corpselight *
