RETHINKING LAWRENCE by Brown K
A collection of essays designed to illustrate the sometimes conflicting critical approaches currently being adopted towards the works of D.H. Lawrence. At the same time it aims to locate Lawrence within the post-Leavisite concerns of the late 20th century and provide a radical reappraisal of this relevance. The 14 contributors include some Lawrence scholars and represent three continents and a spectrum of critical methods and opinions.
KEVIN M. BROWN is Lecturer in Sociology, Deakin University. SUSAN KENNY is Reader in Sociology, School of Social Inquiry, Deakin University. BRYAN S. TURNER is Professor of Sociology, University of Cambridge. JOHN K. PRINCE School of Social Inquiry, Deakin University.
