The Richest Kids in Town by Peg Kehret

The Making of Modern Law: U.S. Supreme Court Records and Briefs, 1832-1978 contains the world's most comprehensive collection of records and briefs brought before the nation's highest court by leading legal practitioners - many who later became judges and associates of the court. It includes transcripts, applications for review, motions, petitions, supplements and other official papers of the most-studied and talked-about cases, including many that resulted in landmark decisions. This collection serves the needs of students and researchers in American legal history, politics, society and government, as well as practicing attorneys. This book contains copies of all known US Supreme Court filings related to this case including any transcripts of record, briefs, petitions, motions, jurisdictional statements, and memorandum filed. This book does not contain the Court's opinion. The below data was compiled from various identification fields in the bibliographic record of this title. This data is provided as an additional tool in helping ensure edition identification:
John A. Burns, Governor of the State of Hawaii, Appellant, v. William S. Richardson et al.; Cravalho v. Richardson; Abe v. Richardson
Jurisdictional Statement / KAZUHISA ABE / 1965 / 409 / 382 U.S. 807 / 86 S.Ct. 74 / 15 L.Ed.2d 57 / 7-30-1965

Peg Kehret works as both a playwright and a novelist. Her comedic, heartwarming plays have been performed in all 50 states and Canada, and her children's books have received widespread praise and critical acclaim. Peg was cast as a hillbilly granny in a one-act play as a freshman in high school. She tried out for every subsequent school play since she had so much fun. She worked backstage if she wasn't cast.

Peg was bitten by the Theatrical Bug... a major deal! Peg claims she would rather write than do practically anything else, and she has forty-six middle-grade books to her credit, including four theatrical books for children. The PEN Center Award in Children's Literature, the Golden Kite Award from the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, the Forest Roberts Playwriting Award, the ASPCA's Henry Bergh Award, and more than fifty state young reader awards, where kids in various states voted for their best book, are just a few of her numerous accolades.

Peg resides in Washington State with her two grown children and four grandchildren.
