Laurie Krebs draws inspiration for her books from her adventures around the world. She is a former teacher from Connecticut, USA, and a mother and grandmother. She is the author of many globe-trotting titles for Barefoot Books, including We All Went on Safari and Off We Go to Mexico! Helen Cann is an award-winning illustrator who graduated from the School of Art, University of Wales in 1992. She has illustrated many titles for Barefoot Books, including Fireside Stories. Helen lives in Brighton, UK.
