Thomas Toughill, the author of the masterly Oscar Slater, The Immortal case of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, applies his detective skills to uncovering the identity of Jack the Ripper.
Thomas Toughill is a graduate of the University of Glasgow, and was an officer in a Scottish infantry regiment and in the Hong Kong Special Branch. The research for his book Oscar Slater: the Immortal Case of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was the basis for the 2005 BBC4 documentary 'Conan Doyle for the Defence' and 'Privatdetektiv Arthur Conan Doyle' on German radio in 2009.
