Author, Dermot Deering worked as a secondary school teacher for many years in the Dublin area where he taught Geography, History and Spanish. A graduate of the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, Dermot has an MA in History. He has also completed a post-graduate diploma in Ecumenics from the Irish School of Ecumenics, TCD. In recent years, Dermot has worked as a tour guide taking groups around different parts of Ireland and he has also given talks around Dublin celebrating the life of James Joyce. Rise and Demise: The Life and Career of Sir Cornelius Alfred Moloney is Dermot’s first book.
