I'm a stay-at-home mom who writes books in her spare time, which means I lock myself in the bathroom with my laptop and lock the door while my kids wreck the house and smear peanut butter all over the walls. I was born in Utah, but spent time in Kansas, Texas, and Hawaii, where I studied marine biology. I've returned to Utah's pleasant valley. I'm married to a great man named James, and we have six lively children. Reading, writing (of course), martial arts, visual arts, making Halloween props, and spending time with family are some of my hobbies.
