Rivals for Love by Ali Vali

Ali Vali is the author of the Cain Casey Devil and Genesis Clan Forces series, as well as a number of standalone romances, including two Lambda Literary Award nominees, Calling the Dead and Love Match, and her most recent novel, Beauty and the Boss. In the anthology Girls with Guns, Ali features a novella. Ali, who is originally from Cuba, has kept much of her family's traditions and language alive in her writings. As a child, having her father read her stories and poetry before bedtime instilled in her a passion of reading, which she still has now. Ali presently resides just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana, and she has realized that the state offers her with plenty of inspiration for her books and short tales.
