Writer and researcher Philip Orr lives in Carrickfergus, County Antrim. He taught English and Drama for many years at Friends School in Lisburn and is the author of many books, including Field of Bones: An Irish Division at Gallipoli (2006), Tom's Story - Sentry Hill and the Great War (2007), New Loyalties: Christian Faith and the Protestant Working Class and The Road to the Somme.
